OK you losers who hoard worthless E3 minutia...see the following pic and identify this part/feature. Hint: photo was taken at the Wundercar exhibit last weekend and actually appears on 2 of Christian's cars. I'll give you 2 days to opine, then provide the answer. Anyone who gets lucky will win a fabulous prize, but I'm not worried. Christoph, you can't play. Aaand, go!

Alright guys. We have a big weiner. Several, actually. Despite poor focus and lack of scale, the indomitable Chris Macha was first with a (mostly) correct answer. I am gobsmacked that BMW thought 2 washer nozzles wasn't enough, and that squirting them through hood grills wasn't challenging enough, so they loaded a third and popped a hole in a perfectly good hood to shoot it. Like that aim is going to stay on target. (Thanks to Marcos for the pics.)

As impressed as I always am by Chris' knowledge of E9 trivia, apparently his OCD extends to E3's as well. And I'm worried about a few more of you too. As our winner, Chris is the recipient of a coveted parking spot in the shade at The 2023 Vintage -- with one caveat. He has to arrive in one of his own cars, not some Chevy rental.

Thanks for some levity on a dreary day.

Don

Well I’m not an expert. I’m just good at the internets. I don’t go to car shows (including the Wundercar exhibit in Seattle), so third in line on a parking spot doesn’t get me as excited as learning something new. :)

My process.

Step 1: Lookup Wundercars (show emphasis on 1969)

Step 2: Lookup 1969 e3’s and get nowhere

Step 3: Bring a Trailer auctions
