Verona vs. granada vs. fjord

I'm getting close enough to start thinking about a color (famous last words), and although my 73 coupe was originally verona, I'm seriously considering either granada or fjord.


Was Granada an original color and was it available in metallic?

and what are the long term consequences of painting my car in an non BMW color...
(Land Rover and Fords have some really nice looking reds...)

Yes, Granada was OEM. No, it doesn't appear in metallic. But the guide has specific models/ years/ paint color offerings.

Everyone has an opinion on colors, values, etc. It's your ride.

You might consider Granatrot, which is a metallic red.

I just had my car repainted in Granatrot, its original color, and would be happy to forward you some photos, if you supply your email.
