W&N strut-brace hitting engine light?

Do E9 owners who install a strut-brace remove the under bonnet engine bay light?

I find the clearance is not quite enough and my small light got smashed, since with my bonnet shut it banged against the W&N strut bar.

Anyone found a work-around? Is there a flat light available? Or is there an OEM plate that covers the light mounting space light (looks unsightly if left as a void)

It happens with most strut bars unfortunately.

What about trying an european in the bumper licence plate light? They are pretty flat
