Hello my fellow E9ers... I'm looking for a picture showing wiring harness path that runs around break booster and firewall with air boxes off. I'm in the midst of restoring a 74 and now can't figure out how to run that particular harness.

ITS RUNS ACROOS THE FIREWALL AND ALONG THE RIGHT FENDER HAVE WAY UP
THEN TO THE LEFT FENDER HAVE WAY UP TO THE FRONT RELAYS AND LIGHTS
THERE SHOULD BE CLIPS ON THE FENDERS FOR THEM
I RAN THE RIGHT ALONG THE FRAME RAIL OUT OF EXHAUST HEAT

Hold it. There is nothing on right fender except wire for A/C relay. On the firewall in the fresh air plenum is wire for the wiper and on the right the washer pump. Everything is on the left inner fender, relays, battery, water temp wire and wires to Alt. In front of radiator panel is lights, horn, power to A/C fan and power to the coil.

As per this. Even on a rhd car the only wiring on the right is for the washer bottle and brake resevoir, wiring for that runs up through the scuttle area before coming out at the grommet just to the right of the water drainage point.

Thank you guys for your replies. But do you have a picture or two of this harness in place? Trying to match the path and connectors as best as we can :)

Not much to it, two wires to wiper and two to washer pump in the plenum.

The rest come thru the firewall and head to the battery except for the branch to the starter.

Thank you Chris. Take a look at these pictures... We determined the connections, however don't know where to route the harness around.

Since you have Webers you don’t need all of the green/white wiring that went to intake manifold temp sensors, auxiliary zenith enrichment devices and the water chokes, also the relays on back of brake booster. The wire to the wiper is encased in rubber sheathing with a branch at the wiper that continues to the washer pump. The wiring diagram you have will show the colors to match. As soon as harness emerges from firewall the wire sheath branches off to the start so not very long. The whole harness mounts to the inner fender using gold spring clips (you will see holes in fender, clips still available) but hidden by brake booster, reservoir and regulator and relays.

Chris, thank you so much for the wiring diagrams. They definitely help figuring out the wiring situations we are facing.
