Not so simple.
The e9 and e12 gear sets were different
Got pics of case showing output flanges?

Indeed, this is a CSL diff, with the crown wheel having 10 bolts of 12mm diam

Hi Bill -- The type of output flange on your dif is obscured in the picture by the half shafts. Can you get a shot from underneath the differential?

Also, what is the blue fitting going into the dif? Provision for an external dif cooler, perhaps?

What I see....
A case marked 12 39 - 3.25 ratio
Long flange bolts with nuts which likely means the earliest version of side loader which is NOT e12 compatible. Now- could that flange be 2nd gen threaded and Not bolted on made to look vintage correct?
