Alan, I think Rick is referring to the hood support that incorporates the torsion springs ( 41611814312 ) which I believe is NLA .

Hi Rick,

I just removed a Polaris (silver) complete hood support from my 1972 3.0CS yesterday. The car is a show winner so the support is very presentable (no cracks). The reason I removed it is that the hood would not stay open when outside in the wind at shows. (I also backed it up with an adjustable hood rod when in the open position).
