We need one Zenith carb base plate assy. The mixture screw has been stripped and the brass "sleeve" in which it mounts is damaged. I need this ASAP, will send UPS shipping tag and pay via pay pal right away.

Jim at Mesa Performance has two zeniths sitting on his floor and can ship a complete carb to you. 949-642-8824, tell him I sent you.

mario, not always is as simple as picking another zenith carb
there are many differences between them,
maybe you are lucky with the ones that you have there close, if not
my advice is, post some pics of the base plate that you want to replace,
I do have four types of base plates, maybe one will be a good match

I also have 3 or 4 base plates, but indeed, we need a picture, or even better the type number on the tag.

You mean one of these things?

I'm in Europe though...

Hey Mario,
Is that for my car? I have another base throttle plate that was originally on the car and maybe a mixture screw. The problem with this plate is that the idle circuit is blocked deep inside. Is this of any use to you?

Wouldn't that be the brass tube sticking out one of the 3 sides? 2 of them have an M3 thread in there, which possibly is the stripped thread that Mario was talking about

it could be, but I am prone to consider that he talks about the version of the iddle screw that is encapsulated in a brass tube diameter 8 or 9 mm

to clarify this we need Mario to show up here

regards
