Great history, that is pretty unique.

Now it is only 40kgs lighter than my Verona. Could I just go to Weight Watchers and pocket the price savings of a CS...

hey that's my car!! ;-)

Personally, I would have taken it back its 'original' original form of its '69/'70 KF-SC 3 form...

...but that's just me. Good to know it still lives.

But you couldn't vintage race it

At Goodwood, or anywhere else they still run the big GT type cars.
I'm guessing that this one is worth significantly more than any variant of the road going CSL's.

In its present 1976 form I think I understand why. Curious why not?

If taken back to its 'original' form, circa '69 or '70 as a 2800cs racer (not the claimed CSL, its not, as we know many of the original CSL racers evolved from 2800s originally), I think it would be eligible anywhere.

"couldn't race it" Sorry, I was refering

the the post comparing it to a street E9. This CSL is obviously eligible for most if not all the big time events. Too rich for my blood by several multiples, but I think it'd be great if someone here bought it and actively ran it again.

Ron, you should buy it and take it out

For some track fun. I'm more into older lighter slower track cars. Vintage FF machines cost less than an E30 M3 club racer, and the median age is a better match for me.
