I thought it would be cool to hear of the stories of members who have had their wood restored by a local shop. We all know that Bela does great work as there are countless testimonies. But I also believe many have had great success using local spots. What was your experience? Post pics if you have em!

Not local to me, Madera Concepts in CA is exceptional.

Yep, they are known to do an exceptional work. But we are looking for experiences with local wood shops especially...

The implication of local is relative to the prospective e9 user. A large majority of coupe owners have sent their wood out to be restored, but I have seen some beautiful jobs by shops local to coupe owners in various areas.

Define local, unless everyone on this forum lives in the same neighborhood

Sorry no pics at the present time . I used the local woodshop, cabinetmaker. We used a mahogany finish to match the Nardi steering wheel. Cost was $300. I'm very happy with the results .
