Lots to like - yes.
But a tremendous amount of info lacking in the auction as to ... just about everything. LOTS of ## spent (it seems) back in the 2013 timeframe and such, but ??? What was done? What is the current condition of .. well.. everything.
Hope the seller chimes in with some detail.

A friend of mine, who has been looking for a coupe for a couple of years, was the successful bidder. He's getting the car for $75.5K, he's ecstatic. He's looked at several. After going through the pictures and seeing how crisp the style lines were on this car, I told him he should keep his eye on it. I suggested to the seller to get the car on a lift and take some detailed pictures of the underside of the car, which the seller did. After seeing how clean bottom of the car was, I told my friend to go for it.

Awesome to hear. Presuming a PNW fella? Great to have another Coupe up here. Have your friend come over to the forum. Should be a nice car to work with.

Hello, I’m Vince’s friend, Mike, who bought the fjord ‘73. It’s now in Tualatin,Oregon. I think it was a really good buy. Quite a clean, original car that spent most of its life in California. Needs a little mechanical sorting but a stunning coupe. I’m rather new to BMW ownership, but since I bought a 2020 M2 Competition last year, I guess I’m all in. Many thanks to Vince for his guidance on the search….and the purchase.

Thanks Mike! I finally got to see his new coupe in person last weekend. It's a beauty in a very striking color combo. Somebody spent a great deal of money on a strong restoration ten years ago or so. The guy that Mike bought it from maybe wasn't as much of a car guy as the rest of us, so there are few little things that can be corrected as he goes. Just goes to show you, there are deals out there - even on BaT every once in a while. Mike scored with this car.

Welcome. Nice you have Vince to guide you along, and this forum, too. AC, Becker radio, great color (mine is Fjord also), so much to like.

Vince the enabler!
