does anyone know if the e24 sill (rocker) trim fits the e9

Hi All,

I know that the tri, on the e9 is slightly different to the e24 - i think the e9 is more narrow than the e24 - but are they the same length ?

Having taken mine off it is clear that one is narrower than the other so someone appears to have replaced in the past.

This is the part I mean. W&N do this one new at a reasonable EUR 100 but the e9 is NLA...

Just a guess but I would highly doubt it.

I will re-measure and post but fairly sure they are the same length and although fastening is totally different, you can make it work. Interesting that I was just thinking about this and looking at the differences yesterday. I happen to have a 2 car garage with an E9 on one side and an E24 on the other!

Isn’t the Right side e24 strip also NLA? Or is it symmetric?

You are right, NLA but prob easier to source than for the NLA E9 part. For example:

i have a barely used set of these trims and a brand new set in the box. once my car comes out of the paint shop and i put the new set on, i will list the barely used set (probably only drove the car 100 miles with the trims on). i bought the other set for another project that didn't happen because of my Bob B. situation.
