e3 and e12 Coil Springs Interchangeable?

I am searching for factory stock coil springs for my 1972 Bavaria. Found a set of fronts in the Netherlands, none anywhere to be found.

Question: Are e3 and e12 coils interchangeable and will they restore factory ride height to my 72 Bavaria?

Yes, I believe they are, Carl at La Jolla would know where you might find them. I’ve heard they’re super difficult to source. You basically need to find a junked E12 somewhere. Also, Jim at Mesa Performance has a really extensive network and he’s helped me before on these kids of things. I wish you well in finding them!

@ricsix, right, Carl did know where to find them. In his shop where he has started dismantling a 72 Bavaria. I bought the coil springs and some other bits. Timing is everything.
