M30B35 Motoronic Throttle Movement is too long

My throttle needs to be buried in the carpet to get full throttle. I am using the original throttle pedal. Has anyone solved this issue. I certainly don't want to have race car responses but shorter would be good.

I think that the solution needs to be based on improving the leverage on the cable eith at the pedal or the engine. Any ideas welcome.

No need - I was being an idiot and got the lever operation the wrong way around. After moving the end of the cable to the lower connector, the movement is much less and the car better to drive. Here was me designing something to make the cable end higher on the throttle shaft.

Let's call it a senior moment.
