Awesome Duane--look forward to seeing you.

Anyone else coming--Anthony, Stan, Len, Michael?

I'll be going up Friday thru Sunday so it would great to see
a bunch of coupes together--since I'm missing Vintage at the Vineyards again this
year.

Hope we get decent weather...

Chuck

Hi Guys,

Can't do a Sunday convoy since we're showing the car. Anyone coming up for the weekend for a Saturday meet-up?

My first time there so let's reach out to each other. If possible Saturday, we could possibly meet-up for drive before lunch or dinner. I'm reached at 917-923-0067.

Chuck

sorry for being out of communication... traveling too much these days.

I will be driving the coupe down on Saturday evening, staying in Stamford CT, then I will be heading to the concours early (like 7am early) on Sunday.

look forward to seeing fellow coupesters - my mobile is 603 502 6252

Chuck (and Sally), Duane, nice seeing you guys. Your coupes are looking better than ever. Any awards?

Great seeing/talking to you Len, Duane, Mike, Nat and George!! Glad to see BMW's (coupes, an 850, and a 2002) in the rarefied company at Greenwich. In our class of exceptional German cars one winner was expected: the lime green '56 Mercedes 300 S; and the other an unexpected, but pleasant surprise: a '74 Malaga Big Bumper 2002 Tii!!

Though no coupes were awarded, our affirmation from spectators and enthusiasts was fast and furious, and more than a few buy offers were noted. Not sure if he was serious, but Wayne Carini (Chasing Classic Cars) wasn't shy about offering to buy my Agave, in response to my asking him why more BMW's weren't featured on his show.

You probably wouldn't like what he would offer you :-D

Good to hear that fun was had by all. I was stuck at a high school gradeaytion otherwise I would have made the trip down.

Hi Tod,

You're right, I know that Wayne Carini would likely
get several times what he'd pay for a coupe. That's why you were missed at Greenwich,
as I'm sure you would have had a perfect answer for Carini's comeback to my question.

Lol, I can easily imagine you talking Carini into hosting his show for him, if for no other reason than to create better awareness of coupe value.

Oh well, maybe another time...

Chuck

Saw your car in a background shot of CCC tonight - behind the silver Ferrari Lusso
