We recently found this wonderful 1971 2800CS and have been giving him a haircut and bath. We named him Harry and just figured out why these E9's are so loved.

Looks similar to Lonnie Sharts' coupe which was owned by Parker Spooner, one of the charter members of the BMW CCA.

It's not restored

It's not restored. With the accept ion of a little paint touch up in a few spots, it original . I've just kept cleaning and fixing little things.
