I have 4 Alpina 7" x 14" wheels that need the center caps.

Anybody?

Thank you.

Regards, Alberto

Than you Erik, are they all the same, no discernible difference in authenticity?

Not sure about that, as my car is older then I am.
I've never seen true, confirmed original ones.

What I got from the dealer are stainless steel caps, push fit from the inside, with a correct diameter for the 2nd and 3rd generation Alpina wheels (the ones with the 5 holes). The stickers are of the flat type.

Erik,
Can you share the BMW part numbers you ordered?

But this is with the BMW rounded, not the Alpina emblem

The metal caps for the Alpina 14” rims are Always with the BMW badge and not with Alpina. Those who have the Alpina badges on the metal caps have bought the Alpina decals from some source and applied them to the BMW caps. In some rare exception one has caps from an original Alpina B2S…..
hope this helps.
All Csls (for which the 7x14/ 5 hole rims were designed) have the metal cap with BMW badge and not Alpina.
Strictly speaking, Alpina metal caps are for Alpina cars
Pics show, original BMW, Alpina after market and original Alpina

Well, as my wheels came with my car along side the BBS set,
I most likely have the proper metal ones with the BMW sticker on them.
Probably in a box, thinking the Alpina sticker would be the give away. Wrong!

Thank you for the great information

Brilliant tool Markos, but, who goes through so much trouble, with all the curb hits you take weekly....
Probably costs a pretty penny too.

We used to align a 935 on the track, with a string, chalk, 4 jackstands, and a tape measure.
It worked, and everybody else used the same system.
