what driveshaft do I need?

I'm in the middle of a swap from a BW auto to a g260/6 5 speed. I just finished getting the linkage in today (yay me)
the driveshaft measures 3 inches short. before I deep dive into research, can anyone tell me which one I'm supposed to have?

also, is there an OE trans mount that hooks the g260.6 to the e3 tunnel or do I need to modify mine?

As I understand it, the E28 (E24, maybe?) driveshaft from the car you got the G260 out of should work. You just have to use some angle iron to move the CSB mount a few inches. I should be able to confirm this in a few weeks.

I've done a bunch of research since I posted. The e28 DS is 7mm longer than my e3 auto DS. people who have done the 5 speed swap have been using the 265 which is almost 3 inches longer than the 260.
I'll take a look at the e24 DS, but it may be cheaper to just pay to lengthen my DS. then I wont even need to move the CSB
