Hi all
Looking for a set of driving lights for my csi
Can anyone confirm actual size in either cm or inches that were used in the period.
Considering Marchal or Cibie. Appreciate that Marchal look better, but want function as well.
Any ideas and or lights that may be for sale.
Best regards
Jarrod

Size ranges from 135mm to 170mm. Enoz05 has been selling many differnt styles in 170mm so check out his postings. They come larger of course, like Cibie Oscars, but I think those are a bit much for a stock street car. Clear glass for driving, fluted glass for fog. Headlights are 5.75" or 146mm so if you want them larger or smaller than them that's your dividing line. I like them smaller than headlight diameter so mine are 135mm with yellow bulbs:

Rectangular Bosch under bumper driving lights were in use then
They certainly were on the e3, not so sure about the e9 though. The orange book shows them above the bumper rather as in the earlier post.
Its a matter of personal preference. I have done several mock ups and to me, small (Cibie 40 size) above the bumper does it. If anyone is intrested go to my post on 9 July in e9 photo gallery and see what I mean.

142 mm Hella fogs are the perfect size, the ones pictured came with the car. Enozo5 is a great seller, I have bought 3 sets of lights from him.

good ... that's the one side i have a spare of ... and since you have spares, i don't need to offer it to you. if you want to part with a nice spare for the drivers side, let me know

I love the front air dam on this vehicle. Any advice on where to buy

This style is the stock air dam that was originally fitted onto the vast majority of the 3.0 CSLs. They are the most widely available air dams reproduced by current aftermarket manufacturers. It is available here: VSR1

Hella spots and airdam on mine, personal choice of course but I love the look of airdam, bumper and spots

Hi Jarod, I think they are 160 mm made by Hella and purchased from Enoz here on the forum.

Cheers. John
