BMW 1971, I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND ANOTHER IN THIS CONDITION

I posted this last week in the copart thread. There were so many houses burned to the ground that this car was probably in a garage at the time. Either way it's sad to see. To see it up for sale this long after the fires could mean there was some insurance claim issues...

The new owner selling it had a toybox with some nice inventory in it.... trucks, boats & a really nice m635 that was also for sale....
the whole collection may have been incinerated in the fire...major bummer
must have been one hot fire to melt all the aluminum trim & the head off the block!

Very hot indeed! Hot enough to melt the aluminum belt-line trimp AND the steel T-bolts that hold it in place!

I did spot what looked like a nice long hood 911 burned to a crisp in my Dads neighborhood up there. Driving through there after the fire was nuts.

They fished this Pagode out of the Neckar river after 30 years. A water corpse!
