WTB: Excellent condition windscreen wipers for 72 CSL

I would like to buy an excellent set of wipers for a 1972 CSL. The ones I currently have are black and I understand they should be silver.

Dan,

To add to the confusion, there are two different types of silver wipers. One type has a chrome base and the other has stainless.

Hi Dan, I have a couple pairs off my e9. I don't know if this is the one. They never been cleaned. I think it will look very nice once it's clean. Darn. I managed to trade away a stainless wiper and now have a mixed bag of items. I'd love to put my name on the second set (after Dan), but I don't think I can prioritize that kind of $$$ right now. Too rich for my blood.

Thanks, I think I'll pass at that price. I already have a slightly scruffy spare set and I may look into restoring them, plus Harry thinks he may have a set for me soon.

Not USD or Euros I imagine...
 
Not original but I think the black wipers and black headlight cover screws look better ( especially on your golf yellow CSL). I painted my original wipers arms black and you could pick them up for free somewhere on the side of the road Indiana where they flew off in a rainstorm but they might have have some tractor trailer tread marks on them.

Hi Dan. I have one very nice satin driver's side wiper arm that I can sell for $175. anywhere in the US. I also have a Driver's side polished with a chrome base for $150 anywhere in the US. there is some pitting on the chrome base. I also have a chrome wiper holder in excellent shape, but missing the small metal clip that locks it onto the arm. Easy to replace with one off your wiper holder. The price for the wiper holder is $40 which includes shipping anywhere in the US. Close up photos by request.
