Usually when I try to think nothing happens but in this case it's a very short thought; there are some pretty well known people (both famous and infamous) who have owned coupes. I'm not really an expert on this but I guess Mr. Heffner owned one, and a while back I saw a picture of Jerry Garcia's first/second wife "Mountain Girl" in her coupe, maybe we could start a section on famos coupe owners-past and present. I know when Drew gets his running we can include him in the list. Thoughts??

Back in my corporate days, the guy who suggested it owns it! Keep us updated on your progress Peter! ;)

Understood but I thought she owned one as well.

Add Hugh Hefner and others here:

Not surprisingly there’s an old thread for that:

Richard Conway, a former list member, stated that he had owned many CSLs. IIRC his quote was to the effect that most of the USA CSLs had passed through his hands. He owned the (Dieter Quester?) twin turbo Djet with a claimed 700 HP.

Sean Connery owned a CSL when he was Bond. Was listed for sale as a restoration project a couple of months back.

I think Susan Dey actually owned a coupe
I think I was in love with Susan Dey, wasn't she the blond in that cop show with the black guy "Link" and some other white guy, I forgot the name of the show, it was like the non animated version of Scooby Doo??

Isn't there a forum member who said his car (schwarz color) was owned by Gene Wilder?
