Ah yes, I remember that Pirelli tread pattern in the first pix. Those tires were on the '71 2800 CS I bought in '73. Seems like a mud/snow pattern today!

CN36. They make them again now. @Stevehose has them on his coupe. You can get them from Longstone Tyre. Also the Pirrelli factory stores cary them in the US. There is a store in LA.

I will get these for my GTV (Alfa in the advert) in a 185/70R14 size. Cost is not bad ($160).

I would like to use them for my E9 in 205/70R14, but the price is 70% higher ($270) for a tire that is only 11% larger. One USA retailer sells the 205 size at double the 185 price. Too bad.

I have them on my Alfa Jr Z, the type of car on the left in the ad, and on my CSL. They are excellent, sticky, tires. Love them. And they look perfect

They are excellent tires, worth the money, look freaking amazing, and great in the rain too, if confronted with such.

checking the differences of what was as original and the new production of these tyres,

there are slight differences, on the right the new ones

back in the day there were differences between sizes. i had a set on my MGB GT - the width of the tire makes a difference on the tread pattern. i remember comparing my tires vs. the ones on a friend's 911

if you want to choke a bit, check the price of the 215/60-15. same diameter as the 205/70-14 ... but its close to 100 bucks / tire more. i still want them for my 15" oz alpinas

excellent recommendation - the 205/70-14 is $269 ... but the 215/60-15 are $429 ... not sure if that price includes shipping. the longstone price does.
Tire Rack has them listed for $248 but they are on backorder ... no listing for the 215/60-15

Add taxes, any federal fees that may apply, shipping, mounting, balancing, disposal of old tires if any. Then you have the real cost. $429 is the opening bid.

excellent point @CSteve ... on taxes + fees, and probable shipping from either Coker, Lucas or Tire Rack. as @Stevehose has previously stated, the Longstone price is a delivered price. on any internet ordered tire, mounting, balancing, disposal is an additional cost.
