Just curious (I do not need another e9) how big a deal it is to fix the cracked rear subframe. Like thousands or more?

Sienna brown, not my favorite color, but it does make the rust less obvious from 20 feet.

I will be very curious to see final bid on this needy car - hopefully someone gets it cheap so they can fix things.

Not expensive.

Drop the subframe, weld up crack.

Good time to refresh the whole rear end (bushings, seals, etc)

About the same price as the recent BAT lime green 1974 (which I think was in somewhat better shape). So $30K is becoming the standard for a needy but salvageable e9
