So tired of missing plugs in the firewall, the trunk etc. leaving unfinished look and fumes running around the car.
For years I paid pickers in boneyards to remove these from e24 hoods but no e24’s anymore.

These are as close as I have found. They fit great, they are clean and fresh and do the job.
And cheap.
Each car needs a bundle of these.... these are the plugs that keep hot gassy engine fumes from your blower fan and into your face.

.50 each plus envelope and shipping. I have 200 available.

-or-

available on ebay !

Much thanks to Norm for track these down .

Thanks Don for finding these. Please send me 8 as I think they would also work on the 2002s.

I believe there are about 10 on each car.
Do a head count this week.

I am curious too, just going with the flow, seems like most of the holes are there for a reason and have tubes or wires and a grommet

I’ll have Nick do a count- 3 in trunk, 2 at firewall.
we will get a firm count.

Here's what i know:
3 in trunk floor section above diff.
1 in spare time wheel well
1 under rear seat
I think 1 in front floor at driver.

Haven't done my firewall, so cannot state those numbers.

Ordering them through BMW here in NL gave me some ill fitting thin plastic plugs. worthless.
Erik.

Well - I believe the official number according to etk is 13 per car.
And not everyone wants to replace them all. We have 9 complete restorations in process so we have a opportunity to do them all. The obvious ones are firewall and trunk which is 6.
