Yes, that is another e9 in front of me and my wipers decided to stop working after it started raining in Dana Point at a Cars & Coffee. And no, my coupe didn’t melt in the rain.

The RainX premixed in the jug of window cleaner really works. You Californians have to start checking your weather apps obsessively. Like we do here on the East Coast.

This is the alert we got early this morning. I can't say I saw much difference apart from slightly bigger waves...
PS: It was created by the underwater volcano explosion in the Tonga islands earlier today

Other than the rain how was the cars & coffee?
Have you ever made to trip to The Malibu C&C?

They are cool but weren’t offered in 73.
Just digging through my new(ish) orange parts book (printed 1975); it has the fitment also presented for the 2800, would that be because it just fits retrospectively, or because they were equipped with it from 1969-1970ish onwards?

I believe they were introduced near the end of e9 production in 1975 so the parts book will show that it fits all models. I could be wrong however!

Oh, and my wiper stopped working because I had knocked the ground spade off of the motor when cleaning that area some months before.
