Hi,
We have 3.5 Liter engine dated 87, a1982 Head
If we go with triple Webers:
1- What size Webers are ideal, 40 or 45?
2- What size Cam would be ideal?
3- What bar fuel pump would be best?
4- What else should we be looking into?

Transmission will be a 5- speed Dogleg and looking into a 3.07 LSD Rear end

All inputs will be appropriated

Thanks
Merdad

40s for street.
I think that also depends on how you drive. If you like to keep rpm above 3000 and do more ‘fun’ roads then 45’s could be an advantage. I had 40’s on a 3.2 liter (from e24), with headers and stock cam. I used 34mm chokes for sporty driving and 32mm chokes for daily bumper to bumper commuting. You have a bigger engine and sporty cam, so I think you should get 45’s, and then choke down if you use mostly low rpm.

i had a pair of 45's on a 2002 w/ 10.5:1 pistons and a schrick 316 cam that produced 185+ hp from a m10 ... when you really stuck your foot in it, it would keep on going. but that was a hell of a motor ... 40's are the right choice for anything short of that.

With that config, you could run also 48th.

possibly but it ran great the way Korman set it up - left a 5.0L mustang GT in stoplight racing, redlined 1st + 2nd + waved goodbye as he had to shut it down for losing a lane with a big tree at the end. it made all of its power above 3500 rpm and redlined at 7200
