Just a quick note of appreciation. I am helping a friend finish up his Coupe. So, I ordered a set of the US (Federalized) 1974 trunk panels from Alvaro in Bogota. The quality is outstanding and the details are spot on (Spring clips, underside wood blocks and the elephant hyde is a dead ringer for the original material. They fit perfect. Fabrication and shipping took about 5 weeks. Top quality! Thank you Alvaro!

They look very nice indeed. Spot-on comment as well from DeQ!
For European folks, CS Werk offers them as well and might be easier on shipping/taxes for this side of the world.

it is a good point, Christopher is a good resource;
BTW i did my own, it is only wood;
in fact i redid all the trunk by myself, not that hard,
yes, i must say that i did found the elephantskin, that was the difficult part
so good that sources for parts come back

Agree, my wood cores where OK as well so I did re-cover them with grey elephant skin material bought from W&N.

I bought a set from Alvaro as well. I had absolutely nothing so it was a great start for me. Obviously not installed yet but they look really nice!

I think the main point of this post has been obscured which is that we thankfully have two excellent commercial sources for these trunk panels if you choose not to redo your own or make your own.

Looks nice, and all clips present, good manufacture

P.s. @alvaro why don’t you add the wall at the left hand end ?

if these are for the USA '74 coupe, they didn't have the vertical piece because of the bumper bracing in the trunk. all other USA coupes did have the vertical piece ... as did all of the euro coupes.

excellent point Bob ... these (and all of Alvaro's parts that i have seen) are top notch. i will echo Paul's comments - THANK YOU for making great parts for our coupes.
