I just received my 3 copies of CS COUPE from across the pond namely the UK. Niek Nijsen has compiled a very good glossy magazine with in depth info on not only featured Coupes but subjects like window motor rebuilds, handbrake adjustment and rebuilds, Karmann history etc. There are many glossy pictures and the production value is first class. There are a ton of statistics but it’s limited to UK Coupes. It appears to be a 4 time a year publication and I think it’s an excellent reference document too. They have a website at bmwe9.com and the magazines can be ordered there. They all run 139 pp(that’s weird). Attached is a photo of the 3 issues. Only unusual point is mostly all the steering wheels are on the wrong side of the Coupes. Maybe the printed pictures were printed backwards, got me.
Regards, Jon

so here's the question for you all ... would you rather subscribe to a print magazine or get a subscription to a website where you can read / see the articles. for instance, knowing that the beautiful CS Coupe magazine costs 15 gbp plus shipping ... would more people rather subscribe to a web based periodical or get the actual magazine? i wonder this as i want to see Niek's magazine grow as i think it will be very beneficial over the long haul.

I bought issues 00 and 01 when they first came out. I wanted to support such an anwesome endeavor. I enjoyed reading through them, and got some joy out of the physical form. Holding and seeing them on my bookshelf, I love that something like this dedicated coupes.

I haven’t bought issue 02 yet because when it came out I decided to spend the money on something else at the time and then forgot about it.
Maybe I’ll buy issue 02 when 03 comes out and I can save on shipping.

That said having access to the issues online would be nice in the long run, and maybe more practical if they begin to hold a real wealth of knowledge.

Having purged all of my magazine collections in a recent move (and being mostly happy about that) I don’t relish in starting another collection of issue after issue of a magazine.

perhaps you also might have noticed those beautiful wood grab rails on the dash too ...

Hello all,

I want to start by thanking you all for the positive reviews and feedback on the magazine! I'm pleased to read it's been received well and people are enjoying the content.

From the start I set out to create a physical product, however, I'm well aware that shipping can get costly, especially overseas. As a result, I've decided to also publish the magazine in a digital format. I'm currently working on this, which is a huge endeavour (especially for a single person operation) and I think it'll be worth the wait. If anyone would like to participate in a little trial to gather feedback, please get in touch.

Once the digital versions are finished, I'll get back to work on issue 03, although it might be slightly delayed as a result. Thank you all for your continued support and contributions!

Niek, i for one would be very interested in the digital version and would be happy to participate in any trial versions.

cheers
scott

I actually like BOTH print and digital versions. I also subscribe the Sunday NYT and use the digital version daily. Something nice about real paper, and a resource you can carry along and read without digging out a charged device, or worse a charged device with an internet connection.

I received links today for two recent issues of the BMW Classic Car Club of America newsletter (just recently joined), and while these magazines are very nicely done (64 pages of glorious color photos is hardly what I woudl call a "newsletter"!!), I was hoping to find a download link, so I could read them off-line...

So yes, print, and yes, downloadable digital versions..
