Monterey Car Weeks kicks off with a fun drive through the Monterey Area and end up at the Little Car Show!

We will have at least four coupes being judged and more in the Display field and several members will be attending and also going to Laguna Seca for the Historics on Friday. If going to the track buy directly from the raceway, the CCA is way too expensive. I am bringing the 2800 with its fresh paint job. Please reply here if you are going. I know we have Mike Wobber, Don Lawrence, Bo Struye, JP @rblongboarder, Chris Kohler and others.
 
Darn, sometimes I wish I lived on the west coast so I could attend super cool events like this and meet all the E9 Coupe legends and see their cars. Hopefully someone will take tons of pics and share them here so we can live vicariously through ya'll! :)
 
I camp every year at Laguna Seca for the races; site 415XL is located between Turn 9 and Turn 10 (the Mario Andretti turn).

I'll be there Tuesday through Saturday. Hopefully I will get a chance to say hello to other people attending various events.

That and Burning Man.
I am scoping combining Legends and Burning Man into one venue. It may be called Legends Man or Burning Oil.

There will be more pot smoked and no pictures taken, Be in the moment man.
 
Unfortunately, can't attend, first one I've missed for many years.

Doing the Thursday Pebble tour, which clashes, but I hope to say hello to some of you during the week.

If you see the "little car that can" 1969 Alpina Werks race car on Thursday or on the field Sunday, please do come by and say hi, always nice to see friends and put faces to names

Damn, is it the one that says “tandberg” all over it? That Castro livery is fantastic! I maybe like it better than the ///M livery on the 3.5 E9s.

Anyway, going to Pebble and especially the Laguna historic races is a bucket list item for me. I can get there in two roads basically - take 66 to LA and then the 1 up to Monterrey. Hopefully they will open the Big Sur section soon and I’ll drive my new E9 up and see all of the things!
