I've been wanting an e28 for sometime. Pulled the trigger on this one. Broke my own rule, not stock but nicely modified.
1987 535is
Alpine over Cardinal
Rebuilt M30B35, 284 cam, Motronic 1.3, Dinan chipped, Schmiedmann header,
Spax lowering springs, e39 17" wheels
E34 540i rear brakes, e32 750 fronts
Still getting acquainted. Sure is fun to drive.

Oooooh I am very jealous. This car is pretty much exactly what I would want with the exception of wheel choice. I'd have to find a set of Hartge Splits. Great pick up!

Gorgeous! My brother just picked up an 87 e28, too. Fantastic condition. Such a smooth ride. Beautiful cars.

BMW's of this era are decently driveable on a daily basis - even after all these years.
I parked my E38 about a year ago and have been using the both myE23 along with my 997 (with use split about 50/50 between the two). No complaints... OK - It would be nice to have a bit more oomph in the E23, but it is fun to run up through the gears (a thing my 740iL doesn't let me do).
