routing hood latch cable???

is there any out here who could show me some pics where the hoodlatch cable routes.
from the lever through the firewall?

I have the hole in the engine bay, but apperently got is closed of on the inside while putting sound deadening etc..

thanks man, tube sticking out was gone. but found it.
while we're at it, how does the lever work. is the cable supposed to be able to glide through copper piece or is it supposed to be fixed in it.. mine doesn't seem to get in between

because, while fully bare metal restoring it and going more then all in.. why not did a color change and wanted a bit more quietness Ik the car..

hmm strange mine just doesn't go in, or there's a magic movement to get it in ..

Cable end goes into barrel before barrel goes into lever mechanism
