Is there a consensus on the procedure to "tuck" a big bumper car?

when you say 'tuck' do you mean, to move the big bumpers closer to the body work? my understanding is that is done by removing the shocks and making fixed plates that are shorter ... and then shortening the accordian side pieces.
You can drill out the bumper shocks to drain the fluid and then collapse them.
Chris, after you collapse them, do you need to put a pin / screw in them to keep them from sliding back out? i presume you still have to do something with the accordian pieces on each side.
Yes I think you drill another hole through the collapsed shock and tap a bolt in there
