Awesome coupe on BaT

Yesterday I replaced the 22 year old radiator in my e46. Today my back has decided it’s payback time so I’m laid up spending way to much time surfing the inter webs. Anyway this modified 503 turned up on BaT yesterday. I remember seeing this car in person at the Greenwich Concours in 2017. It’s even more impressive in person. I recall that Vignale did the re-design of the nose. I love the original 503 design but the face lift is certainly well executed. They could have done a better job with the front parking lamps. Call me weird but I prefer 503s to 507s.
Surprised it’s no reserved. Does the redesign hurt it’s value?

I know the car and its owner. Very fastidiously maintained in a large collection of great cars. Garaged next to a VSR built E9 and an E24.

Timeless designs! I miss that in modern vehicles. Aston Martin comes the closest but even they peaked years ago.

Sold for $70,500. Incredibly well bought IMHO, even when you add the $3500 buyers fee.
Especially when you consider this poor example from the dude in Queens NY. ( The BHCC of the east coast)

I think the e-Bay car had an extra 1 in front of the price. Must have been a typo.
