I dont mean to high jack this thread, but just a clarification please. A bumper on a 1973 is longer by 2-3"?

The mounts are longer but the 73 bumpers in the rear is unique with hoops.
I have a 73 and I guess for me to really understand I gonna have to find an earlier year to compare. Thank you
Bumper size is the same, rear bumpers on a 74 use a mount that is not compatible with earlier.
