Here's another random discovery... I took my boys bodysurfing for three hours today. On the way home.. I hit my favorite after-the-beach-shop, The Green Store, and discovered something new.
The Paulaner Brewery in Germany makes a really good soda.. Cola with Orange. That hit the spot after three hours in the ocean.
On a recent camping trip up near Lake Arrowhead, I found this local beer: Persephone Tropical.. a blonde ale with guava and blood orange in it. Very nice. Quite similar to the Cali-Squeeze Blood Orange citrus wheat ale but the guava really puts a new spin on it.
For those of you attending Laguna Seca Historics 2026, I will try to bring some of the Persephone Tropical and the Cali-Squeeze Blood Orange... see you at the top of the corkscrew...
