We’re not worthy…
Looking forward to it.
I think you mean July 15 cutoff.
So far @mkent and I are making the drive from Portland. Who else will join us?

Note that if you are going to attend but do not want the shirt and decal, please email [email protected] to be manually added to the attendee list.

Thanks

This was a great event! So glad I made the trip from the Portland area. Great people sharing their cool cars and stories. Thank you for putting this on, Kyle - very well done!!

I have come to love the Northwest car culture, within which BMW occupies a key spot.

Paired with Polaris - even better!
Glad people like them! It was a bit of a leap of faith when I purchased them but they give an interesting look and feel period correct.
Some beautiful cars out there today and good vibes all around.

Spot the differences!
interesting study in mirror positioning
Some day it would be interesting for you two to swap cars for a rip and compare notes, eh!
I noticed @e9Leveque also sports the full forward iteration.

I think I saw @HB Chris answer this at some
Point, but I thought that certain European cars had passenger more rearward position and driver forward. That’s what I have, originally Swiss car. So it’s not only the driver position but also the passenger one that can vary.
Some of us actually commented on this mirror issue today since the cars had different options visible. We also commented that driving in an E9 feels like you’re naked to the world - a lot of glass without many pillars

Yah, I remember reading that and I get the theory.
I think it’s a decision checkbox item on the E9 pre-paint prep list.
I’m thinking a real world, real roads, real people, seat of the pants kind of interpretation.

Thanks @mkent and @JMinPDX for making the trip up North yesterday. In my humble opinion the Wundercar Social was a great success and hit the mark with what I set out to achieve. The camaraderie and passion from all owners was in full display. Amazing to see and be a part of this community.

Link to a bunch of photos and driving vids my wife took below. Please check it out!!

If anyone else took photos please share here or email them to me. I will be putting together a post event video.

Great job Kyle. Love an event that gets people out driving their vintage Bimmers. Driving our cars and getting together with other like minded people is what it’s all about. E9coupe.com was well represented. Got to see some familiar faces and meet new ones. Mike and I totaled about 350 miles without a hiccup.
A good shake down run as I prep my coupe for the drive to the 2002fest in San Simeon, CA in September.
