I'm talking about 61-31-8-648-007, which is is the lever opposite the right side turn signal lever on all of the 2000 coupes and possibly the fist six cylinder coupes as well. I know putting the lever in the up position turns on your bright lights, but what happens when you pull the lever towards you? Does that flash the brights or the regular headlights? My switch is broken and I want to wire up something temporary until I can find the part or repair my switch. Also, if any one knows a source for these, or a way to fix them, I'm all ears.

E3 and 2002 switches work the same. It might be that youneed to change the connector but apart from cutting down some insulation it is exactly the same part. I got mine an W&N rather than $600 as was offered to me by some.
