Is there a Vin Decoder to decode my 79 323i?

Interior is totally faded, even pulling the seats and looking behind does not really help tell me my interior seat color. Interior is grey but seats look like they have a green tint. I have searched BMW color palettes to no avail, have tried to Vin decode but between the euro origin and age, have had no luck. Any help appreciated as I try to determine what I want to do with the interior.

Thank you for the suggestion . The results are below so no info on the interior color.

May have fallen off long ago but the build card used to be folded over one of the rear lower seat springs and stapled in case didn't already look there. Earlier had a string tag.
Cloth or plastic? Folded over flaps of material may still retain color - behind quarter panel trim. Is the car Reseda green by any chance?

For which years did they do this? I’ve had four 2002s including a one owner 69 and my new 74, no tags. Two e9, no tags. My one owner 70 2800, rear seats still had plastic on them, no tags. One 79 e12 had the narrow strip of paper with build codes. My 67 230SL had the same however under the driver seat.

Think later e12 & e21 is when they started with the printed codes. Looked like maybe generated by key-punch card system. One in picture is early 80's with pin feed on sides. Don't remember any build sheets for 02, e3 or e9 either.
My '79 e23 733i had one
Perhaps USA-only, related to the FMV fire-resistant spec? Not sure what year that came into effect but remember around 1974 dealer saying that's why all the USA cars had to have leather (or vinyl) and couldn't order cloth. My '83 e21 came with cloth so must have later "certified" the material. Imagine that fire-resistant spray is why my old 60's horsehair still looks good but later "sprayed" ones crumble?

Fehrer Gummihaar und Schaumpolster Fabrik KG would put their small paper tags on. Company is still around!

Does your 2000 have rectangular or round headlights? May have a spare grille if interested.
