Coupeking restored the car. So give them a call.
First of all, great work! Really impressing and thanks for all the pictures! Keep it up!
What kind of metal shaping tools do you use? I thing I saw a bead roller in some picture but what else?
Are you a panel beater by trade? Everything looks so easy when you do it. :)
Hi there!
Old thread, I know but I'm stuck with a similar problem.
My wiper arm locking tab also snapped off but at the bottom, so there is no tab at all. The tab is lost.
Glue a L-shaped metal piece to the bottom that act as a snap? I'm not convinced it will hold.
Any better idea how to repair...
Kill switch for a quick in and out of a shop. A wheel clamp and a steering wheel clamp of good quality for longer parking.
It is a trade off between practicality and protection. If it's too complicated and takes too long time it's not fun any more and I could as well take the daily driver.
Saw this auction on eBay (NMNA)

Pretty cool if it really is an original (I lack the knowledge to judge). Can't be many originals around.
Raka Rör's price according to their web page is 5990 SEK (~675 USD incl. 25% VAT) for BMW 3.0 CS, CSA, CSIA (72-76) without front pipe (downpipe I guess).

Yet another company with replicas:

Couldn't find any references to Maxilite on the forum so I decided to add it. Anyone with experience of them?
Just couldn't resist to check it out and found these pictures (taken from https://www.jbugs.com/product/21-3015.html). Seems a little bit different, but @restart can you make a side-by-side shot? :)
