    posted in parts too

In today's world of auto-correcting text, I've gotten in the habit of proofreading my messages every time. I laugh at my own messages after my phone has decided to use certain words. Looks like Markos wasn't confusing the situation after all! Dan

    How much are E9's appreciating/year?

Nope, I still get credit since we were talking about how much the "i" increases value. With E9's, apparently the "." and "i" make a difference. Mine has neither.

    How much are E9's appreciating/year?

Soooo if it has two "i's" its worth how much?

    How much are E9's appreciating/year?

I know they appreciate being in the garage at night, avoiding water and being driven on sunny days. I don't know anything about their value. Dan

Paul Cain 3.8 csi web page

I'll work with Paul to get his site content hosted here. I've also planned on redesigning this site to be responsive (mobile friendly) so I'll be working on the site anyway. I'll post to the forum for ideas when I start... Dan

    Saving dented grilles and trim

I've repaired dents in beltline trim on 2002's by tapping them out. I didn't use a spoon, just patience. You can either sand and polish them out and leave them exposed aluminum, which requires repolishing from time to time, or you can get some Jam-it clearcoat paint at an automotive paint...

    Decent 73 CS on e-bag

Geez, I read all the comments before looking at the car and I expected a piece of crap. More than I would pay, but not a bad car.

Hey, I kinda remember this now. Was I supposed to get some info or did I already get it? Hosting it here is obviously the thing to do... Dan

1973 3.0cs Malaga 4speed car. Concord Ca. SF Bay

Everyone is different in the way they like to run ebay auctions and your way is fine, I just prefer to use a low starting bid with a reserve of $22k. If it doesn't reach reserve you get the benefit of knowing how much someone would have paid for it, which might help when relisting or reset...

Wow, that's the best representation of a coupe I've seen in a long time. Good job.

2002tii being flipped on "Wheeler Dealers"

My wife even likes watching the show. She notices that it seems more real, with a lot more of the work being shown and the cars not being perfect, not every nut and bolt looks new, etc. I guess that's what she's used to with me. lol Dan

Anyone ever make an app for business?

I'm looking into it for the company I work for and thought I'd throw the question out to you guys. Know of a good place to start? It will require help from our website server-side guy but I want to learn the basics first... Dan

VW is in a Heap of trouble

They haven't even gotten to the bigger issue yet. The "cheating" was done for marketing purposes, not so much about emissions. "Clean diesel" is the only way they were going to sell diesel vehicles in the U.S., and why do people want diesels, because they get better fuel mileage. They either...

a couple of new coupes on ebay

The Polaris car looks to have a repaired cracked dash. A friend does amazing work on interiors and dashes and he says its nearly impossible to repair a vacuum formed vinyl dash and make it look good. I'm not sure I get the gray-with-black-spots-underside paint job either. Its obvious they...
