You can paint the black ones with Harley bead blast silver paint, gives a matte cad plating look, spray lightly and several coats, FYI IMHO, it doesn't matter which way you go, as long as you put the black vinyl under the side panels, most restorations don't have them but they are reproduced.

IMHO, TUV inspectors care about rust but don't care about how it was repaired...I have seen a lot of lousy rust repair work over here that passes inspection but is not even close to concours or decent repair work. As a former global economist, all I can tell you is that every financial bubble...
