sandy car graveyard - no sign of BMWs

When I saw the title I assumed it meant "Sandy" the storm.

    Does this bum you out?

Looks like someone didn't know the hood opened backwards. That's odd. I think I would've left a note asking if they want to sell. ;-)

    Admittedly, this is pretty funny

This reminds me of when I was standing at the BMW parts counter at the local dealership and listening to the lady in front of me give a list of all the stuff she wanted to buy for her son's new M3 that they bought him for his 18th birthday. He made a list of all the accessories and mods he...

    Clutch not building any pressure?

Don, are you saying that the problem with bleeding is due to an old or old/rebuilt unit? How does a new unit make it easier to bleed?

    Clutch not building any pressure?

I've had trouble getting clutch MC's to prime also. I didn't have a pressure system but got it to work eventually.

New Owner in Santa Barbara Ca

That's exciting!... and welcome. Even a cracked head is usually repairable. I've had two or three BMW heads repaired over the years with very good success.

    Or: '88 m6 - $6k

That's a Copart yard so I'm guessing the person that posted the cl ad was phishing, or posting a price for a car he hadn't purchased yet. No risk in doing that... all they have to do is delete the ad and move on to the next car. Dan

Came across this M-Coupe sitting in a field in northern CA, along with a Z3. Trying to get a hold of the property owner but having some trouble. Would be a fun car to mess with... Dan

    Any interest in E9 t-shirts?

My Graphic Designer son is working on one right now. Weird that everyone has been thinking about shirts lately. A friend makes them on the side, has been for years, and will make some up for my son and I to start with. I'll post pics once we're done in case anyone else is interested. Dan

    Help with Carb

What Steve said, although I'd start by making sure there aren't any vacuum leaks and then go from there. Nothing else matters if there's a vacuum leak somewhere...

    Legends of the Audubahn

I think it would be easier to list the coupes that DON'T have Alpinas now.

Any E46 M3 owners on the board?

    That's too cheap.

    Copart finds

The icon next to the vehicle title refers to R=run and drive, S=engine starts and E=enhanced vehicle, which means nothing really. This is a dealer vehicle with DMV fees due, so it most likely has engine problems, otherwise it would have an "S" for engine starts.

What is eBay trying to tell us?

Yeah, I'm familiar with how ebay works. You were suppose to just laugh. ;-)

    EVENT POSTING GUIDELINES

All coupe and BMW related events are welcome. It is best to include the event title and location in the Subject line! This helps prevent a bunch of posts named "Car show next month". Any questions about events need to be posted within the event Topic. New topics that are not events will be...

    Question about this forum layout...

Do you guys see a need to add any additional forums? Maybe use an Event Forum instead of a static Events page? We're such a small group that its not a problem the way it is, but I thought I'd through it out there... Dan
