But you gotta have a safety factor, so a dolly for holding 1000 pounds ought to have an ultimate capacity of 3000. Doing so will resist flex if you have an uneven floor... and (hint, pro tip, not mine) might keep distortion limited so you have an easier time reinstalling the windshield.
