I love everything about this car - the restoration, the art work, the way it makes you smile. I commend the owner for all parts of the execution he commissioned here - its absolutely beautiful I wonder if anybody actually knows Christian Zschocke personally, I would love to reach out to him...

It was great meeting you and a few others, thank you for coming by. Great timing in your picture, that crowd I was speaking with was the BMW senior execs at the show :-) they came by twice. It was a tough class, but the prewar European always is and our old Italian Gal, got a 2nd in class...

    Who’s going to Monterey?

Hi Ohmess, That wasn't me sir, I broke down on Big Sur after pulling over to the side, everybody went past me fine. I had a puddle of what looked like a Starbucks Latte on the lay by , but nothing terrible for the road, although terrible for little old me though :-)

    Who’s going to Monterey?

Hi Chris No, I was talking about my E9 in 2016, getting second in class for 100 years of BMW - BTW beaten by a 507 that had a $1M RM restoration (to me almost like a win:) ). Maybe it was Paul C who called me up that time. I cannot tell you how chuffed/humbled I was, as this is the only time...

    Who’s going to Monterey?

Never miss it - I will be dragging my wife's Nash Metropolitan down to be sold at Goodings More importantly, I will have my 1928 Isotta Fraschini on the lawn on Sunday. Feel free to come and see a sweating, overworked, crazy nut job trying to make it as clean as poss for judging

    1973

Well I guess I am going to be the one, as everybody else is dancing around the subject.........while the car is what it is, everybody with a modicum of eyesight can clearly see it for what it really is, so no further comment needed there. From a rust bucket to a concours car every car has its...

    1973

Well, I am going to stick to my rules, find the positive or say nothing Let me think how can I be positive about this car, well I suppose I should say "congratulations" for getting somebody to bid $53k on BAT recently for this car, that is amazing and you should be heartedly congratulated...

Black Cal Tag CSL on BAT,

If I may on this car. There seemed to be some genuine interest in this car and I think the price was a little light, but the car was not :) Not in a bad way, it just is. If we take into consideration what I am presuming is steel door skins, all four electric windows, the wonderful washer...

    Back In The Game

Sven, If there are a few places you can confirm this, ideally very different places on the car and at least three, then I would say the car was Inka before it was Ceylon. I would always check that a part of the body hadn't been replaced with something that was Inka originally and therefore...
