    1974 3.0CS Automatic, SoCal, NMNA

There's something so...1974 about that car. Which I find delightful.

    Carpet for the Coupe.

My choice, too. It's a versatile color and brings together "different" elements...

    Malaga Coupe

Congrats, Chris. Looks like you got a legit buyer with deep pockets. Wish it had bumped a little higher for you, but nice sale!

    Malaga Coupe

When mine was listed last summer, there were two others. One ended shortly after mine went live. And then as soon as mine was done, another popped up. So I don't think three overlapping is hugely unusual. If you look at their scatter diagram, you can see the bulge last summer...

1973 BMW 3.0S on BaT Automatic

Wife and I will be making that loop from Calistoga in early October. Sadly, just in a rental car.

    Malaga Coupe

FWIW, it took my listing about 7 or 8 weeks from accepted submission to live listing last July. Not sure if they're still on that kind of cycle, but their volume of vehicles certainly hasn't slowed down...

    M30B34-Powered Euro 1972 BMW 3.0CSi 5-Speed BaT (NMNA)

Superficial buying seems to be what BaT is now built for.

    He Shed, She Shed

Delightful. West Linn must be a place where you don't run afoul of zoning or building federales? In my town, that looks like 6 months of permit negotiating....

    Golf CSI back on BAT

Ugh. Signs of a flaccid market...and a little relisting "burn."

    Golf CSI back on BAT

Pulling the reserve at $77k heading into overtime is an interesting move. i bet everyone on the selling side regrets not taking the $101k last year.

    Golf CSI back on BAT

If any one has the pull to get a car relisted, it's r911. Not much material that's changed since a year ago. And still missing the VIN plate, as Chris pointed out.

    Copart BMW finds...

Hey, Dan. Can you see what this unit sold for? (I think you may have Copart powers I don't have...) https://www.copart.com/lot/58944381/clean-title-1969-mercedes-benz-280sl-nj-trenton

    Poodle coupe back on BAT

Sigh. This is the sale price that emboldened me to list mine last year. I do think it's very likely a different market now, so unless the seller/consignee REALLY wants to fund his 992 purchase with this, it has all the earmarks of RNM.

Just lovely. Coincidentally, you must be the second of two Byrons I know in Tiburon...the first is a friend who sails out of the Corinthian...

    Any solar energy experts here?

Not an expert, but I literally initiated a solar installation plan at my house in Illinois today, oddly enough. At least here (and through the technology I'm aware of), you are returning domestically generated electricity to the grid through your utility to get a kWh offset and lower bills, and...

    Copart BMW finds...

Thanks. I'm having impure thoughts about something that may or may not have an engine: https://www.copart.com/lot/58944381/clean-title-1969-mercedes-benz-280sl-nj-trenton

    Copart BMW finds...

Hey, Dan, when Copart listings say "No" in the engine field, what does that mean exactly? Most of these obviously have engines...the 928 in particular... Just curious.

Help in chasing a fuel pump/line leak

Thanks, Luis! I'll give the uncrimping a shot. If I blow that, I'll get the newer Bosch unit and follow the tii forum instructions.
