My CSL rides a little high post resto. The diet didn't help things either. Wasn't there somebody on here from the UK selling a lowering kit that was pretty close to the correct stance.

I recently bought some rear spring spacers for another classic car brand and they were perfect to create the ideal stance. Unfortunately I have been searching for spacers for E9 rear spring buckets for ages, but havent located anyone selling them. I guess you need to make your own.

lowering the stance, you have a couple of options 1. buy lowering springs from LaJolla Independent 2. ask @HB Chris who's springs he used to improve the stance of his new chamonix.

My goal is to keep the ride quality as close to factory while improving the handling and lowering the stance (in that order). I really appreciate the input.

Isn't it the case that there was a requirement for how high the headlights should shine, that's why the added the 5/8'' to the stance?

Poor stance is not so obvious with stock, balloon profile tires, but once you go plus 2 or 3 on the tire ratio (upsize wheel diameter), it starts to look stupid with stock sky high front ends.

Rob--Dave Kindig from the TV show "Bitchin' Rides" says a car needs 3 things: Stance, Color, & Performance. The buyer has 2 of 3 and if they join the forum, they can find out how to get that 3rd--Stance.

At these prices I don’t think buyers are worried about the stance, I think Ivo’s was near perfect.
