    Valuation?

Do we trust Hagerty's current ratings/ prices as a general guide? It seems similar to BAT.

(update again it drove!)Guess who can’t tune

Hmm... An idle that high would be that the linkage is misadjusted and opening the carbs beyond idle. So start there if it's firing. Parts get worn, parts need lubricated. Carb tuning begins with disconnecting each/ both carb(s) for this reason. The main linkage from the block to the carb...

    M10 Running Rough at Idle

The mixture needs enriched or your throttle plates are open too much. Same effect. Weak mixture. Enough is reaching the center cylinders and not enough on the two outside.

    FS: 71 2800CS Houston "Fully Upgraded" :-)

Real Deal guys, no expense spared rust repair/ paint job, etc. Owner of a Lexus dealer did it -he remembered the cars from his youth is the only reason he did it. Karma is a funny thing. It was a Northern CA car to begin with. It wasn't about money. His mother had an 02 and that was the seed...

    E9 running issues!!!!

Oh yes. Rear sees the build up of heat. Usually that carb runs rich - the fuel level rises from the heat. Since the carbs were rebuilt, the base plate can get loose. The screws just don't hold well unless you set them by torqueing waiting, repeat. The gasket compresses more. The base plate is...

    E9 running issues!!!!

Ifin we were just talking: Works fine cold.....rich enough to run,,,, gets hot.... likely lean.....not firing on all cylinders...pull a plug wire.. likely cyl 1 or 3 .. 4 or 6. Because of the manifold design, the outside cylinders are the first to see lean. Adjust the mixture or find the vacuum...
