I'm guilty of painting the parts black too, only yesterday we sprayed a batch of items for a CSL and I choose black over the strange green/grey as i personally think it looks nicer and has become the normal now. We prepped some servo brackets and it seems wrong to remove the greenish grey and go...
Morning Rob. I'm short of stock at present and need to confirm new prices if i'm going to order another batch now, like everything in the world my prices will no doubt have increased hugely and make me wonder whether it will be worth ordering them.
Add to that the increase in courier...
I would say they would be worth what someone will pay, a concourse car will need them! It's pointless me making an offer because I would need shipping to the UK and that would be risky for such a delicate rare item.
$450 - $500 each would seem fair I would say, think they were about €370 each...
Hi Mike
Sorry for the slow reply, I had to check my stock and get some pictures.
You are correct, the CSL progressive rears are now NLA too. I have just recently made rear springs replicating original new CSL rears (but slightly lowered) as them not being available was causing me an issue with...
Thanks Krzysztof
I do find its not as easy as flicking multiple pages to find an image of what you're looking for and then the parts numbers but thanks for the links.

WANTED - BMW Parts books.
I'm now fed up with searching online for original part numbers for restorations so if anyone has a set of orange books that they want to sell please get in touch. I would be happy with reproductions as they will get used in the workshop and grubby fingers will be...
Nice to see the follow up on my post. That is a panel that I don't have a new CSL one to compare so I'm very jealous. I see that it's not a UK CSL panel as there wasn't a hole for the fog-light on our cars.
Hi
I believe so, or very close to 90 degrees. I have no stock left to measure at present but have attached all the photos that I have of them. They were made as an exact copy of a new undamaged original one. There should also be an Aluminium spacer block that sits between the arm and the bumper.
Thanks @richiemcb for the comment and photos, I'm glad they were good for you, I think they are just a good compromise for handling and height.
With reference to the comment by @Drew Gregg we did test the springs on a CSi without rolled arches and on 16" rims and they didn't hit the arch at all...
Hi John.
I sell them in the UK and have shipped many pairs to the USA. I needed them for our restorations and they were NLA (well one side was available) so made them in stainless steel templated from an original pair we had.

Take a look.

That's great feedback so a big thanks @Christopher for that report after a long week of testing. We have tried over the years to improve them and to get the springs as good as possible to match the Bilsteins perfectly, a sensible ride height (stance), comfort at low speeds and firm when pushing...
