I vaguely recall hearing of these oil filter adapters. They are for spin-on filters, right? If so, what brand(s), part numbers does it support? Will I need to make a gasket for where it attaches to the block?

Hi 73E9er,
As i understand, it requires using a Fram HP-2 filter. It doesn't actually attach to the engine block, but rather it attaches to the stock bottom-bolt canister head, so no custom gasket is needed.

It may use the large 'O' ring from the old canister to seal between the the new disk adaptor and the mount.
 
Purchase price?

I have the same for sale and was wondering how much you got for it so I can price mine accordingly? I ended up not needing one I purchased and lost the @#$@#$$ receipt!
