help hose heater blower

We have installed a new heater blower unit (thank you DQuincy) and Wall suggests we need two hoses - (see picture enclosed) - however when we look at the heater blower unit - no downward hose hole exists - just a white grommet - was there a change in design? Is Wall wrong on this - do we have a...
